This Privacy Policy explains how EntreCuentas, owned by Marc Canaleta Pascual (Cangi Developers) (“we”, “our” or “the Application”), collects, uses, and protects the personal data of users (“user” or “you”), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and applicable national laws.

  For privacy reasons, no additional personal details are published. These will be made available to the competent authorities if required.

 

2. Purpose of Processing

Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing user accounts.

• Operating the application and providing its main services (managing shared expenses, balances, and receipt scanning with AI).

• Sending push notifications related to service functionality.

• Sending informational and promotional emails, provided the user has given explicit consent.

 

3. Legal Basis

Data processing is based on:

• Performance of a contract: providing the requested service upon registration.

• Consent: for commercial/promotional communications.

• Legitimate interest: improving the service through anonymized statistics and analytics.

 

4. Data Processed

During registration, the following are collected: first name, last name, email address, password (encrypted), and preferred language.
During use of the app, usage data and technical identifiers may be collected for statistical purposes (Google Analytics).

 

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

Data may be processed by:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): server hosting within the EU (Ireland).

• Google Analytics: analytics services regarding app usage.

• OpenAI: text processing.

No data is shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

 

6. International Data Transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the EEA. In such cases, appropriate safeguards are applied (Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission).

 

7. User Rights

Users may exercise at any time their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and data portability by sending an email to admin@cangi.tech.
They also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the competent authority in their country of residence.

 

8. Data Retention

Data will be retained as long as the user maintains an active account. Once deletion is requested, the data will be erased or anonymized within a reasonable period, except for those that must be kept under legal obligations.

 

9. Security Measures

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, including encryption in transit and at rest.
